British journalists have stated that in his memoir, Prince Harry will disclose how William pushed him to the ground during an argument over Meghan Markle in 2019.
This information was reported by the British publication The Guardian, which obtained an excerpt from Harry's book prior to its scheduled release on January 10.
The British publication claims that the altercation between the brothers took place at Harry's London residence in 2019 after William referred to Markle as rude, snobbish, and difficult.
According to Harry, it sounded like "press narratives" about his wife.
The Guardian cites the following excerpt from Harry's memoir:
"He grabbed me by the collar, pulled me close, and ripped my pendant off. I fell to the floor, landing on a dog bowl that shattered beneath me, cutting my back. I lay there stunned, then I got up and said, 'You need to go.'"
Afterwards, William urged his younger brother to strike back in response, but Harry refused.
Later, William returned to the scene with a "dismayed look" and asked for forgiveness.
Harry also noted that his brother asked him not to discuss what happened with Meghan.
It is known that Harry and William became very close after the death of their mother, Princess Diana.
However, the brothers had a falling out after Harry's marriage to Meghan Markle in 2018. At present, their relationship remains strained.
