The group is part of the Light Balance dance project. According to the project's website, they perform hi-tech dance shows using neon and LEDs.

Light Balance Kids was already a finalist on America's Got Talent in 2019, but they were invited to participate in the continuation of America's Got Talent. All stars.

Because of the war, the children were in different cities and countries, they met in the United States before the competition for the first time after the war and could not prepare for the performance for a long time, the participants said.

On stage before the performance, they also reminded the audience and judges of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Marina Zaitseva, a member of the band, said that her father is currently fighting at the front in Ukraine "for independence and freedom."

"I woke up at 4:00 a.m., my family grabbed me, and we ran to the subway station because there were bombs and rockets everywhere," she recalled how she met the first day of the war on February 24.

The band members said that by participating in the show, they wanted to tell the world what was happening in Ukraine and show their spirit for victory.

Their story, as well as their dance, did not leave the audience or the jury indifferent.
