Jennifer, however, never expected that a horse and a cat would become best friends.
Morris was a stray cat for 9 months. He wandered his whole life and didn't know what it meant to have a home, family, and friends.

So when he found his family, he was initially shy and not very sociable. A few days later, Morris met Chumpy.
"I let Morris live on the veranda to have time to explore his new home in peace." Champy immediately became interested in his new neighbor and went to say hello and befriend him," Jennifer said.
Morris was frightened by his size and tenacity. But Champy continued to show kindness and good intentions.
... until Morris finally gave up.
"Champy took care of Morris for about a week before the cat relaxed and felt safe in his company, and in return, he showed him his kindness," Boyle explained.
Morris and Champy are now best friends. This amazing pair does absolutely everything together! They even sleep and go to the well together ...
They graze together ...
... and, of course, have fun together.
Champy loves it when Morris rides on his back. The animals spend most of their time together. Even in bad weather, they put on raincoats and walk together in the fresh air.
Although Morris was initially afraid of the huge Champy, his new friend taught him that true friendship is not about shape or size!
"They are best friends. And they absolutely trust each other," Jennifer Boyle said. "I have four horses and two cats. Champy and Morris are true friends."
