This mysterious sea creature is extremely delicate and tends to showcase its natural beauty when approached with modern equipment.
In reality, it is a sea slug. Meet the sea angel.
As reported: Popularni.live
The following stunning footage is captured by Alexander Semenov, an employee of Moscow State University who leads a team of diving operators at the Belomorsky Biological Station and explores the most delicate and unknown world under the ice.
There, in the motionless water of great depths, live creatures that humans have only seen a few times in history.
They cannot be caught and put into an aquarium for study, so Semenov prefers to personally conduct macro photography of marine wonders in natural conditions.
And then such beautiful footage is born. According to Alexander, this difficult filming is his calling and challenge in life.
There is no automatic tuning, in a changing underwater environment, every sparkle, partial shadow, or media movement causes many difficulties.
And to avoid getting blurry spots, he has been perfecting his underwater filming skills throughout his career.
Additionally, the footage is not retouched and everything is displayed in natural colors. Here it is, the incredibly beautiful sea angel.
"This is not computer graphics, it's alive". And there are still many such wonders in the depths of the northern seas.
