And walk with it in the forest! And howl at the moon together!
Such an opportunity is provided by the Predators of the Heart Sanctuary in the state of Washington.
As reported: Popularni.live
In the sanctuary, you can go on a tour with wolves.
The wolves are very friendly. They only wear collars for photo sessions.
You can pet them and give them scratches.
The sanctuary only takes care of animals that wouldn't survive in the wild.
Wild wolves don't show any friendly gestures towards humans, but the ones in the sanctuary are well-behaved.
The sanctuary is located on an island between Seattle and Vancouver.
You can't just get here easily.
You need to make a reservation for the tour in advance.
The price is around $200 per person.
Usually, two tours are held each day, six days a week (wolves have Sundays off).
But the list of interested people is quite long.
Unfortunately, only individuals over eighteen years old can pet the wolves.
In the entire history of the sanctuary, there have been only two incidents: once, the wolves attacked a dog that accidentally wandered into their territory, and another time, a wolf ran onto a neighboring property.
The sanctuary has been in existence since 1998.
It is spread over an area of 4 hectares.
"Our goal is to educate children about nature and teach them to value all living creatures," writes the sanctuary's website.
The sanctuary is also home to other animals: cougars, birds, and other rescued individuals.
They are all heart hunters who will delight you with their friendliness.
