Many people believe that a howling dog is a bad omen, portending illness, misfortune, poverty, and even imminent death.
Because of the bad reputation of this sound, owners begin to scold and even punish their pet. This is not the right thing to do.
For a dog, howling is a normal reaction to certain events. Scientists have identified the main reasons why dogs howl:
Boredom
Some breeds of dogs are too sociable and sociable, so it is not easy for them to cope with forced loneliness.
Lack of attention
If you prefer to relax alone after work, your dog may start howling simply out of boredom. Passive people should get a cat that does not require so much attention.

Pain
