We can argue about the beauty of cats as much as we want. However, the scientists' verdict is unequivocal.
Interestingly, the most beautiful breeds did not include popular Scottish Folds, Persian cats, or sphynxes.
Specialists in various fields of science: mathematicians, biologists measured the faces of 46 cat breeds, which can be considered the most famous.
Then they compared their faces with the "golden ratio" to find out who fits these parameters.
Thanks to the "golden ratio", we can derive a "formula for beauty".
This method is designed to determine the ideal proportions of different parts of a whole.
Scientists have measured various indicators: the length and width of the cat's muzzle, the width of the nose, the distance from the top of the head to the pupils, from the pupils to the mouth and nose, etc.
The winners include the following breeds:
- the Norwegian Forest Cat
- the Russian Blue cat
- the Manx cat
