Dogs have a sixth sense, especially when it comes to people.
Often, dog owners cannot explain why certain people trigger a certain level of vigilance in their pets. Some may think the dog is in a bad mood.

Science, however, suggests that dogs' behavior is based on their ability to recognize "bad" people. It has already been proven that dogs are sensitive animals that can differentiate between an angry and a calm person.
Scientists, however, decided to explore an aspect in which we have always been more or less convinced. Dogs have a sixth sense, especially when it comes to people.
If animals become more or less sociable depending on the people they come into contact with, it should mean something. To confirm the idea that dogs can identify a "bad" person, this experiment was conducted.
The scientists decided to create two situations for the dog. The dog's owner and two employees were present during the experiment.
In the first situation, the owner tried to open a container with food. He asked one of the employees for help, while the other was not involved. After opening the container, the dog took food from both employees.
In the second situation, one of the two employees refused to help the owner open the container, while the other did nothing.
This time, the dog took food from the second employee and was cautious towards the person who did not help the owner.
The same approach to people was observed in all the dogs participating in the experiment. The study's results were published in the scientific journal Neuroscience & Biobehavioral Reviews.
As a result, researchers concluded that dogs judge people based on how they behave towards others. If your dog growls or doesn't want someone to pet them, it's likely that in the past, these people behaved badly in the dog's opinion. Remember, dogs have great memories!
