Ingredients:
For the dough:
1 cup of pumpkin puree
1 egg
150g of light brown sugar
50g of butter
60g of sour cream
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
150g of flour
1.5 teaspoons of baking powder
1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
1/4 teaspoon of salt
For the cream filling:
1 egg
100g of cream cheese
50g of sugar
Instructions:
Prepare the dough:
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Grease a bread loaf pan with vegetable oil and set it aside.
In a large bowl, mix together the pumpkin, egg, brown sugar, vegetable oil, sour cream, and vanilla extract.
In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Then mix the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients.
Pour two-thirds of the dough into the pan.
Prepare the filling:
In a bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and egg.
Pour the filling over the dough and spread it evenly with a spatula.
Spread the remaining dough gently over the top.
Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out almost clean. Let the bread cool in the pan for 15 minutes before removing it.
