The only thing I have in life is my son, and he is the most precious to me.

We help each other with everything. I have always assured him that he can rely on me, his happiness is my happiness, and his well-being is my sole goal.

I have always been there for my son, always supported him. I attended all his performances and praised him.

When he had trouble with his studies, I found him a tutor. If he needed anything, I took on extra work, but my child always had everything he wanted.

I would gladly sacrifice things for myself, but my child was always the priority.

I would rather go without buying an expensive lipstick if my child didn't have a trendy toy and felt abandoned. Never in my life!

My boy grew up humble, with an amazing mindset. He never said, "buy me."

He remained silent and, on the contrary, tried to help me and did everything at home and school.

His eyes would light up when I thanked him for his help, but I wanted to spoil him like all mothers do.

He graduated from college, found a decent job, and began his career growth. Girls were constantly showing interest in my talented young man.

However, he found someone special, from an honorable family. She allowed nothing unnecessary, so after six months, he proposed to her.

Tradition dictates that the groom buys the engagement ring and the bride's family covers the wedding expenses.

But the situation was strange: the bride's parents decided that a modest evening in a café with a small family gathering would be sufficient. No grand celebrations, no luxury.

The children were naturally disappointed.

Which bride doesn't dream of a beautiful vacation and royal dresses?

So, I said to myself, "We only live once." I took out a loan, and we celebrated in style. I had missed out on my own wedding, so at least my son could have wonderful memories.

The bride's parents initially thought it was nonsense to spend money on a wedding.

But they quickly embraced the idea and took charge of the organization, choosing the café and everything else.

From the bride's side, they invited forty families, while our side consisted of only fifteen people, and I paid for everything.

As a gift from the bride's parents, they received an expensive kitten with a hint to bring it into their new home. I later found out that my son had plans for a mortgage after the wedding.

However, family life didn't work out.

They argued constantly, and soon the daughter-in-law took the cat and returned to her parents. Fortunately, she showed no interest in the house because the mortgage payments will continue for a long time.

And I am still paying off my loan.

Work has been challenging lately, you know what's happening in the world. All my money goes to the bank, and I can't even afford to eat properly.

I hinted to my former relatives if they could help me with a loan, but they spent all their money on their own guests and didn't leave a penny. They just laughed, saying they wanted to go to the café as a family. You wanted luxury, and that's what you got.

But I have to keep living. I'm paying and crying.
