This condition occurs due to a lack of collagen.

Jenny Rowbury began facing the illness when she was 19 years old.

Up until that point, the girl lived a typical life, studying at university and unaware of her uniqueness.

In 2020, she underwent surgery. However, the operation did not help.

"Jenny is in constant agony, but she cannot even scream. Her case goes beyond the experience of British neurosurgeons," said Jenny's mother, Anne Rowbury.

Despite spending all her time in a lying position, Jenny continues to pursue what she loves—writing poetry.

Her texts have even been published in a small collection called "Rainbow In My Eyes." Thanks in large part to this poetry, people began to talk about Jenny's case.

A charitable evening was organized for her, featuring prominent British actors, which raised nearly the entire amount needed for treatment in the United States.

The procedures and therapies will cost the Rowbury family nearly £750,000. The remaining funds are being collected through crowdfunding.
