If you see rain outside, you're unlikely to want to go for a walk. But not Bo the dog and his owner.
They believe that the more precipitation, the better! Because they can engage in... surfing!
Who's more talented here: the dog on the board or the man who came up with it?
After a strong storm left the streets of Fort Lauderdale, USA, resembling a riverbed, Peter Rosen decided to experiment with a mode of transportation.
He hopped on his bike while placing his dog, Bo, on a board! When the street flooded again recently, Rosen hoped that Bo would remember his surfing skills.
"We pulled out the board, and he immediately remembered it and jumped on it," Rosen said in an interview.
Their neighbor, Rachel Frank, noticed Rosen and Bo getting ready to ride the "waves," so she quickly grabbed her camera and started filming.
"I couldn't stop laughing and filming," Frank said. "My dog was with me and also wanted to go on such an adventure."
Initially, Rosen tried to teach Bo to surf in the ocean, but the small waves of South Florida weren't powerful enough to rock the board.
That's when he realized that the flooded streets might be the perfect fit for Bo. He started teaching Bo slowly but steadily. And here's the result!
By the way, the surfboard isn't the only mode of transportation for Bo! He can often be seen riding in Rosen's Vespa scooter or comfortably settling in a cart while Rosen skateboards!
