Twelve-year-old American prodigy, Clovis Hung, holds an impressive five college degrees.
He was inspired by teenager Jack Rico, who earned four degrees by the age of 13.
This is reported by nbcnews.com.
Clovis has become the youngest graduate in the history of Fullerton College.
He enrolled in the college at the age of 9. By the time he turned 12, he had earned degrees in History, Social Sciences, Social Behavior and Self-Development, Art and Human Expression, and Natural Science and Mathematics.
Fullerton College offers a program that allows students to combine college attendance with a homeschooling curriculum.
Initially, Clovis and his mother were concerned about how he would handle the heavy academic workload.
However, in reality, everything went well, and the teenager quickly adapted and enjoys the process.
"After that first history class, I realized I could handle it, and I immediately fell in love with college life. So, I set a goal for myself to attend more classes," Clovis says.
"The first thing professors and classmates ask is how old I am. They are amazed that I am here and always inquire about my quiz and exam scores. However, after some time, I showed a serious commitment to my studies, and they all believe in my abilities and determination to achieve good grades," the boy added.
The genius's mother notes that her son has always been very curious and determined.
She realized that the school curriculum was not enough to satisfy his thirst for knowledge.
