Ingredients

500 g wheat flour

220 ml sparkling water

570 g vegetable oil

5 g baking soda

10 g salt

Procedure

Preparing the steep dough is very easy: mix sparkling water with flour, salt, and 70 ml of vegetable oil. The dough is easily formed and does not stick to hands.

Put the dough in a bowl and cover it with a towel for an hour.

Now you need to divide the dough into 4 equal parts. Each piece needs to be rolled into a cylinder.

Carefully cut oval layers in the form of a parallelogram. The dough does not stick, so do not add too much flour. You won't need to change the oil frequently when frying.

To make the donuts airy, the oil must be thoroughly heated. The appetizer should be fried at maximum temperature.

Italian salted donuts should be accompanied by lots of vegetables. Cucumbers and tomatoes are great. It will also be very tasty with ham.

If you don't like salty pastries, you can sprinkle the donuts with a little powdered sugar and eat them with tea or coffee.

You can easily feed a large group of people without significant financial investment.
