British writer, author of a series of biographies and investigations, including the book Revenge: Meghan, Harry, and the War Between the Windsors, Tom Bower is sure that King Charles III is ready to turn a blind eye to his son Harry's antics and words because he has reason to fear his youngest son.

He wrote about this in the Daily Mail.

At a recent private dinner for friends hosted by Charles and Camilla at Clarence House, the king's guests were stunned by his apparent reluctance to confront his son Harry about his infidelity.

"Confronted with numerous rumors, indiscretions, and provocations, Charles revealed one of his main weaknesses: a constitutional reluctance to tackle personal problems head-on," Bauer notes.

"Rather than fight for an important principle," as Charles told his guests, "he preferred to avoid a wild battle."

British media have already reported that the king may be seeking reconciliation with the Duke of Sussex and "admitting his mistakes."

There is no denying that such a proposal must have truly shocked British monarchists, who made up the overwhelming majority of Charles III's subjects.

They are convinced that if the monk succumbs to Prince Harry's pressure, it means that Buckingham Palace is incapable of controlling the agenda.

The most likely reason for the king's behavior was Harry's statement that he threw out half of the final manuscript due to its length, and therefore could reveal even more family secrets in his next book, which would cast his father in a very unfavorable light.

"Nobody knows better than Charles that Harry has barely scratched the surface when it comes to his tumultuous marriage to Diana, his difficult relationship with his own parents, and his infidelity with Camilla. The deposed king knows that he has every reason to fear his son," Bauer emphasizes.

Charles' determination is also weakened by a sense of guilt; he is well aware that after Diana's death, he was everything but a supportive father. Too often, on weekends and during school holidays, Harry was left in the care of a nanny in Highgrove, while his father was off doing his own thing or settled in another house with Camilla," Bower stresses.

One of the most impressive and eloquent quotes attributed to Charles in Harry's book is the king's appeal to his sons after Prince Philip's funeral: "Please, boys, don't make my last years miserable."

Bauer emphasizes that these words revealed Charles' vulnerability.

He was afraid that Harry and Meghan could destroy his reign.

"And it seems to me that Meghan specializes in every kind of human weakness. Just as she humiliated her own father and abandoned her family and many friends, it seems she is taking revenge on Harry's family for perceived slights," the writer confides.

So far, Prince and Princess of Wales have been relatively successful in resisting all royal intentions. Prince William understands that any royal concessions to Harry's blackmail could lead to serious damage to the good reputation of the British monarchy, and he does not intend to allow that.

"It's hard to believe that William or Kate sees any advantage in giving in to Harry's demands. Concessions, as they see it, will only lead to further accusations. William knows that the king and his advisors are on a dangerous path. Talking about reconciliation is a delusion. Harry and Meghan won't agree to anything other than complete surrender and victory," Bauer is sure.
