The recipe for bread cutlets or schnitzels from Abruzzo (Italy) was published on his Instagram page by food blogger Eduard Nasyrov.

It is prepared very simply, using available ingredients, and the taste is unbeatable - Italian.

Ingredients:

400g of yesterday's white bread

2 garlic cloves

1 tablespoon of capers

1 celery stalk

1 teaspoon of Italian herbs

4 eggs

100g of grated pecorino or Parmesan cheese

Salt, pepper to taste

Oil for frying

Tomato sauce

Instructions:

Cut the bread into slices and pour cold water (sometimes milk is used) over it for 5 minutes.

Squeeze well. Chop the capers, celery, and garlic finely.

In a bowl, mix all the ingredients and add ground meat. With wet hands, form cutlets or schnitzels.

Fry the cutlets in hot oil for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown or bake/fry them in the oven.

Heat up the tomato sauce. Serve the cutlets hot with the tomato sauce.
